Just gonna put it plainly. Best Philly cheesesteak I've ever had and the French fry portions are generous and crispy. I am going to nap now.

Before moving to Chico, we were told to come and try Kathy's Deli because their pho is BOMB. When we finally moved up here, we decided to go and give them place a try and it was good. They have a variety of different food options: thai food, sub sandwiches, burgers, burritos etc.. it's like a hog pog of different food choices - a pretty good variety too. The beef and chicken pho is not like your typical "Vietnamese" pho - so if you're going here thinking that it's going to taste like that , it's not. Their pho broth is very different and more similar to Thai style. I tried both their chicken and beef pho, I think my favorite out of the two would be the chicken, but the beef is good too.. I normally come here for their kaopiek.! Kathy's Deli is the only place that serves this dish and I'm so happy that they do! When I'm craving kaopiek, I always come here to get it.! I do want to try their other Thai dishes, but that can be saved for another time. I'd definitely recommend their kaopiek tho.! Soo good.! Service is decent, they do make everything fresh and it does take a while to make. They have a note informing you to be patience because it can take them a while to make your food. The restaurant itself is pretty small, there are like 4 tables along the side of the restaurant and a couple tables in the middle. So it can be a tight squeeze. Overall- definitely recommend Kathy's Deli.! I'm always here for their kaopiek.. maybe ... in the farrrr future, they can add more noodle dishes to their menu like: Kapoon & Kasoy (;

The broth of the pho seemed bland, but once adding the Hoisin sauce and sriracha, it tasted so much better. The Thai iced tea (regular) was awesome. The service was fast, and the girls at the counter, were very friendly!

Always amazing. I've had their chicken veggie and rice platter with egg rolls, loco moco, and beef pho. All have been amazing.

So, after living practically next door to Kathy's Deli for two years, we finally decided to check it out, and wow, were we missing out or what! The place might look small, but it surprised us with a big round table that easily fit our trio, though it looked like it could handle a party of six without breaking a sweat. We went all out with the menu - Beef Pho, Philly Cheese Steak, Fries, and Cheese Rangoon. We shared everything family-style, getting a taste of it all, and honestly, every bite was bang for our buck. The Pho was a massive hit (seriously, even the kiddo was slurping up those noodles), and everything else was just spot on in flavor. They've got this fridge filled with Pepsi products that you can just grab from, which added to the chill vibe of the place. Noticed a bunch of DoorDash folks coming in and out too, so it's not just us thinking this place rocks. Long story short, Kathy's Deli is this awesome hidden spot that's all about great food without the hefty price tag, perfect for families or anyone really looking to share a meal. Don't be like us and wait forever to try it out. We're already planning our next visit back!

I got the khao piek and ate it at the restaurant. It was for sure authentic and did not disappoint my taste bugs. I took the leftovers to go for my hubby to try. He absolutely loved it so we went back and got him an order. My hubby who is very picky is now a fan of khao piek and has added the dish to his list of approved soups. If we cannot find the same flavor of khao piek in our town, we might have to come back to Chico just for our khao piek fix.
